Through tough times.

Your Mama

Born 4-30-07............Passed 11-16-07

I shouldn't have to be writing a memorial for a 6 month old puppy, but due to someone's negligence, I am forced to. My baby boy Sprout died today at the hands of someone not paying attention. He got hit right in front of our house and no one even stopped to say anything.  It broke my heart yet again. I lost my whole bloodline in 6 months. Sprout was the last of his line.

Sprout was an unplanned puppy and definitely unplanned breeding. Sire was a border collie/Australian shepard; mom was pure pug whom we lost as well. I always thought it was going to be pretty interesting to watch Sprout grow and develop. He was a very interesting and intelligent puppy and was a blast to have around. I was looking forward to bringing him to a meet-up sometime and introducing him to more pugs. He had a lot of pug traits and was so smart. Never once did I regret having him even when I lost his mother. I miss the little guy so much. He was very loved in his short stay here and will be missed by every life he touched, Take care little guy, watch over your mom and grandma for me until I can be with you again.

Love, Vince (dad), Marilyn (mom), Ken(friend), Lynn (friend), Rodeo (your dad), Pugsley (your Pug daddy), and last but not least Daisy (your ‘lil friend)

In memory of Cricket

We were not blessed with Cricket for very long, only about 4 months.
As all of us pug people know it is impossible not to fall in love with these little dogs. I still think of her everyday and wonder if I did the right thing. The vet told us it was time as she was filling with fluid and her little heart couldn't take it anymore, but there is always a part of me that thinks she might have gotten better if only I would have done something different. I know her soul is in heaven and she can walk and run and her back doesn't hurt anymore. Her little partner Nikki is doing well and is now my older pug's (Mugsy) eyes and ears. I know that someday soon I will have to say goodbye to them too, if it only got easier. I think that everyone who has experienced the love and life of a pug becomes a better person and that one day we can all see our little friends again.
Love your adoptive mom.

**Cricket is the larger black pug on the Christmas picture. I sent this out for our Christmas card this past year.

Alexandria

Adopted to a loving home in February 2008, died April 2008 of liver cancer. Although she was with us for such a short time, she touched the hearts and gained the love of first her foster mom and dad and then the wonderful family that adopted her and gave her a few short weeks of total love, devotion and care.  She will be greatly missed and never forgotten.
