If there is a pug that peaks your interest, you need to fill out and submit an adoption application.
If you'd like to find out more information about a dog, feel free to send an email. If you don't hear back from us in 3 days, please send another.
We sometimes take new pugs in every week, so please keep checking back. You never know who will show up looking for a home!
Tootsie is a great 5 year old pug. She is use to small children, other dogs and has adjusted well since her surrender. She is housebroken and current on all vetting. She is an absolute doll. SHe loves to cuddle, lay on your lap like a baby and have her belly rubbed. She sleeps in her pet bed at night and she's been an absolute joy since coming into the rescue.
She has a lot of energy! She loves going for walks and is perfect on a leash. She also travels very well in the car. She is very affectionate and loves to be near people. Gets along with cats. Carmen is about 99% potty trained. Carmen doesn’t bark so when she wants to go to the bathroom in the morning, she makes funny grunting noises!
He is a one year old male, gets along great with other pugs (cats unknown), and has a sweet personality. Has marking issues, but that may be better after he is neutered. He loves to play with a small rubber ball. No medical issues noted.
Sugar's DOB is 7/4/2005. As you can see she is missing an eye. She was rescued from a breeder mill and arrived with MPR-MN December 13th, 2009. She is the most skittish right now. She is also the most vocal and when she wants out in the morning she isn't afraid to use her voice. She tends to hang close to Pepper. Loves treats, bones and food. She is figuring out that potty pads work and isn't really diggin' the whole MN cold. She is currently on a Medical Hold and should be available for adoption mid January. She too is kennel anxious, so kennel training her will not be advised.

I have some neurological issues. I do have some problems with my back which can cause me to have accidents. My foster mom found the best solution though - Belly Bands! I love to be with my human family. I get to sleep on the couch and absolutely love it. In the morning I greet my mom by jumping off the couch to the floor and spin until I get pets and a belly rub.
I did take a visit to the vets at the University of Minnesota - what an awesome place. The vets said that there was nothing they could do for me. They did suggest spine surgery, but it is very expensive and there is no guarantee that I would be better.
My foster mom loves it when I give her the "look" and I tend to get lots of rubs. I tend to do a food dance when I see my mom get up in the morning and get my food.......she chuckles at me!

Maggie is the female, 6 years old with a sweet personality. She is ADDICTED to tennis balls! She always has a tennis ball close by and loves to run back and forth chasing after one! She can play for hours with a ball. She is clean in her kennel and is house-trained. She loves to stretch out in a nice warm bed on these chilly days! Maggie is diabetic requiring 2 shorts of insulin per day as well as a special prescription diet.Â

He is somewhere around 7 and 8 years old. We are working on potty training he does pretty well I'd say he is probably 60%. Crate trained we are working on that he does well with his crate in our bedroom and if I'm in the room he seems to suffer from separation anxiety and I'm working on that with putting him in his crate for short periods and praising him a lot when he does not whine. It seems to be working as I only have about three weeks until school is back in session and I will be gone for seven hours at a time.
He gets along great with all my pugs and visiting dogs that are here. He does seem to have taken a liking to my pug Harley. I think he would benefit from a home with another dog or someone who is home a lot as he loves to be by people. He gets along great with children he is just now letting us pick him up to sit on the couch he still loves to walk around the house checking things out. He also does just fine with our cat - just ignores him he also leaves the guinea pigs alone.
He is a real sweetheart and will make someone a great companion he also does great on a leash and enjoys short walks. He also only has one eye and it looks good no concerns he does not let only having one eye get him down. He is a very happy go lucky pug.

Pugsley is a 3 1/2 year old female. She is mostly blind (her foster mom wears bells around her ankle so they don't bump into each other). Pugsleyâs favorite game is tug of war! She loves to play but because of her vision you have to be very patient with her, so she can figure out where you are and what is being done. She loves it when the refrigerator door is openâ¦she loves sticking her head in there and trying to figure out if there is anything in there for her!

We came from the same home and did have a few litters together. We would like to stay together if possible. I am Lily with the dark face and legs. I was at the vet recently and got all fixed up. It took me some time to recover, but I am doing well now. I recently went to the Pug O Ween and had a blast! I met many, many pugs and people. I did wander around a bit, but stayed close to my mom. I am Stevie and I am the âotherâ pug in the photo. I am a bit spunkier than Lily. I went to the Pug O Ween also and had so many people come up and give me loving. People were amazed that both of us were so well behaved at this big event. Our foster mom is very smitten with us and has this to say, âThey are love bugs, Stevie is a bit more anxious and a heavy breather. Lily is a snuggler. They have not mastered the potty thing yet, but they are getting better. They get along with our dogs and cats. They have slept in a kennel, but will probably be in the human bed soon. Please adopt us together if possible!!

I am a petite young pug. I weigh about 15 pounds so I can be carried easily. I am really fond of my foster human brother since I came into their home on 11/21/09. He lets me hang out with him. I am sure that I will miss him when he goes to school for the day. When I came into my foster home, I felt the need to mark my territory all over the yard – I tried in the house, but my foster mom caught me and now I wear a belly band. My foster mom thinks I have dry eye. I got a nice bath and blow dry from my foster mom, boy did that feel good. I hope I get more! I would love to be in a home with older kids. My foster mom said that I am as gentle as a lamb and very quiet. Please adopt me!

My previous family did not have enough time for me and wanted to give me a better life so I am up for adoption. As you can see I am a cool dude. I am a fairly low dominance guy and I get along well with my two foster pugs. I was initially reluctant to go on walks much past the house but now I am happy to explore the neighborhood. I love to play tug and frequently toss my toys into the air and try to catch them. I know how to sit, stay, wait and high five. Except for the first day, I have been accident free in the house. I am a loose leash walker and was trained to heel on the right side. I may have some arthritis in my left rear leg but I am able to climb stairs and jump onto furniture with little problems. I definitely want attention and follow my foster dad from room to room. Please adopt me as I am the perfect male pug.

I came into the rescue with Daisy, but our foster mom does not think we need to stay together, but you can still ask for both of us if you are interested in adopting us both and keeping us together. I love all the foster pugs in the house that I am in now. I love to sit in a comfy lap, get lots of pets and ear rubs. I am really laid back and would love to be your new addition.

I came into the rescue with Diesel, but our foster mom does not think we need to stay together, but you can still ask for both of us if you are interested in adopting us both and keeping us together. My foster mom thinks I am the sweetest pug she has ever met. I like to sit in a lap but will never be overbearing. I am almost blind and deaf, so I will need another dog in the new home I go to. I recently went to the vet and had my teeth cleaned, the vet had to pull 6 of my teeth so my foster mom has been giving me wet food and I luv it!
